Outdoor Life, Nature & Ecology
Camp Regis Applejack is located in the heart of the Adirondack National Park on the banks of Upper St. Regis Lake. Our location allows us to have an extensive outdoor program and requires our campers and staff to leave their technology home and truly enjoy the nature around them.
Campers learn many skills such as how to pitch a tent, make a fire, cook over a fire, read a physical map and compass, and other camp crafts. We teach the campers these skills through various internal and external trips like day hikes up the local mountains or an overnight at our in-house lean-toos. While on these trips we take the time to teach our campers the importance of the wilderness around them and how to follow the leave-no-trace rules of the Adirondack Park.
